Opt for this lightweight cream, which smells faintly of roses. This is one of my go-tos, as it works great with all skin types! It contains rosehip-seed oil, which helps locks in moisture all day and gives the makeup a gorgeous glow. When I use this I can see the makeup become one with the skin.

It has a lightweight consistency and the milky colour disappears once blended into the skin. As well as minimising the look of pores, this keeps your skin hydrated, stopping foundation settling into fine lines. If you don’t like the look of heavy coverage foundations but still want your makeup to last all day, Kat Von D Beauty’s global makeup artist, I recommend mixing half of the primer with your foundation. This sheers it out whilst still ensuring your foundation lasts all day.

These super-affordable concealers do not mess around. The shade range is vast and has been since even before everyone started doing shade expansions, for the record. The coverage is full and the concealer itself can be worn however you’d like. It’s user-friendly, applies beautifully, looks even better and wears well all day. L.A. Girl Pro Conceal has been getting it right all along, and if you don’t already know, it’s time to get familiar.

This purse-friendly foundation is my go-to for a smooth, weightless base. Taking to the Makeup Addiction group, women praised this skin smoother for lasting from desk to dancefloor, making it ideal for ant season or anytime of year

The idea of using an eyebrow marker pen may sound weird, but stay with me. The three-pronged tip allows for easy, natural-looking strokes. The liquid formula dries down quickly, so it’s smudge-proof and long lasting.

It looks like something out of a sci-fi movie, but the dip in this chic black sponge is actually designed to help keep your fingers clean while flawlessly applying foundation and concealer. And unlike some sponges that work best with creamy formulas, this version works just as well with powdered compacts.

Charlotte Tilbury’s Cheek To Chic blush compact features two shades, with the outer one designed to be swirled over the cheeks and the core shade to provide a pop of colour at the apples. Love Is The drug is my all time favourite.
